gWhiz Mobile Learning Assessment (MLA)
MLA is tool for creating assessments (e.g., tests and quizzes) that can be distributed to a classroom even virtually via an iPod touch or iPhone. The results of the assessment are recorded in the same document as the assessment for easy review and analysis. We use Google Docs to host the assessments and the creator (e.g., an instructor) can even control the experience via their own device (e.g., step the audience through the assessment) which makes this ideal for polling as well.
To get started you will first need to create an MLA account and associate it with a Gmail/Google Documents account that you will use explicitly for MLA. If you do not already have a Gmail account for MLA use only or wish to create another, go here before proceeding.
After you have created your MLA account, you can make changes to your account including purchasing device licenses by selecting the link below. Currently, you can use your account for free for 120 days. After which you can purchase individual device licenses from $2.50 to $5 per device per year depending on the quantity purchased.
